Best Juice, Smoothie, and Frozen Dessert Spots in Mallorca
I spent almost an entire summer in Mallorca, Spain, and had the chance to try some incredible fresh juices, smoothies, and natural frozen desserts. If you’re visiting, I hope you find something here that brings a smile to your face!
1. Greengo Palma 🥤 (Best Large Smoothies & Brunch)
If you’re craving a fruit smoothie, juice, or açaí bowl, this is my go-to spot in Palma. Their €5.50 large smoothies allow you to pick from multiple milk options, including almond, coconut, oat, soy, lactose-free, or whole milk.
Unlike some overpriced tourist-trap juice bars, Greengo offers great quality and value. It’s located a little outside the old town, but the brunch menu and fresh ingredients make it well worth the visit. Plus, they offer vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options, making it an easy choice for groups with different dietary needs.
2. Pascual – Mercat de Olivar 🍊 (Most Juice Options & Central Location)
For the best quality juices in Palma, visit Mercat de Olivar and look for the Fruites Pascual stand on the first floor. If you’re lucky, Pascual himself will greet you and show you his extensive juice menu—or let you create your own!
I loved my fresh cold-pressed orange, mint, and lime juice (€5). You can also buy fresh produce here, and yes, they even have ice (a rarity in Europe!). After your juice, explore Palma’s old town, just steps away.
3. Lentulus 🌱 (Most Unique & Gut-Friendly Smoothies)
This spot doesn’t offer traditional fruit juices, but it excels in raw, gut-friendly smoothies and natural ice creams. Everything is additive-free, refined sugar-free, and lactose-free.
They use fresh, homemade nut milks (like pistachio and almond) and offer eight unique smoothie flavors, including:
- Mediterranean (dried fig, dates, granola)
- Spring (black cherry, plum)
- Cacao (raw Peruvian chocolate nibs)
Hidden away from the main tourist areas, Lentulus attracts health-conscious locals—so if you’re into clean, nutritious treats, it’s worth a visit!
4. Can Joan de s’Aigo 🍨 (Best Spanish Frozen Desserts)
This historic, family-run shop (est. 1977) is famous for its almond ice cream and horchata—a crushed-ice drink perfect for hot days. It’s a great way to try regional desserts that are less sweet than gelato but still incredibly refreshing.
Their pastries and hot drinks aren’t the healthiest, but the stunning interior makes it a cozy stop. To avoid long lines, visit the Carrer del Baró de Santa Maria del Sepulcre location instead of the more crowded branches.
5. Gelats Paco Blanquera 🍦 (Best Local Treats – Allergy-Friendly Options)
For Mallorcan frozen desserts, this retro-style shop offers:
✅ Natural granizados (slushies)
✅ Dairy & non-dairy ice creams (almond, soy, and even rice milk!)
✅ Unique flavors like almond-cinnamon-lemon and cheese-passion fruit
Located near Plaça d’Espanya and the Sóller Train Station, it’s a must-visit if you want authentic local frozen treats with allergy-friendly options.
6. Yomaro Frozen Yogurt 🍧 (Best Frozen Yogurt)
This German-owned frozen yogurt shop in Plaça de la Drassana serves high-quality plain frozen yogurt with customizable toppings (fresh fruit, candies, sauces).
While not the healthiest, it’s better than Spain’s frozen yogurt chain Llaollao. The friendly, multilingual staff makes ordering easy, and you can enjoy your treat by the water fountain before heading to the contemporary museum nearby.
7. The Martinez Juice Company 💰 (Best Budget-Friendly Option)
Located near Plaça Major, this spot serves affordable smoothies, juices, and açaí bowls. My vanilla protein shake with almond milk was just 5.50€, and yes—it came with ice!
However, they use Alpro dairy-free milks (which contain fillers) and Prozis whey protein (not vegan-friendly). If you prioritize high-quality, homemade ingredients, this may not be your top choice—but for a budget-friendly pick-me-up, it’s a solid option.
Final Tip: Try Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice! 🍊
Before leaving Mallorca, don’t miss out on fresh orange juice, especially in Sóller, Port de Sóller, or Fornalutx. The oranges here are some of the best in Spain, and a glass of fresh juice is the perfect refreshment while exploring.
For the best experience, rent a car to uncover hidden gems and scenic spots across the island!
